The traditional German royal blue

Knigsblau is the colour many people learned to write with at school. Rohrer & Klingner’s version is bright and clean, without the purple tint some royal blues have.

Erasable for students

Like traditional school inks, Knigsblau can be removed with an ink eradicator pen, making it handy for students and anyone who likes to correct mistakes neatly.

Better than average resilience

While not a water-resistant ink, Knigsblau holds up better than many standard blues: after a small spill, writing usually stays readable.

Uses

• Everyday writing at school, college and work
• Letters and journaling
• A dependable ‘house ink’ for several pens
