In Japanese, fuyu-gaki means winter persimmon, the bright orange-red fruit that hangs on bare branches as the cold sets in. Pilot Iroshizuku Fuyu Gaki captures that glowing colour in a warm orange-red fountain pen ink, bottled here in a compact 15ml size.

What the colour is like

Fuyu Gaki is a lively orange-red: warmer than a true red and deeper than orange. It’s cheerful and expressive, and it stands out beautifully on cream or white paper.

Great uses

We love it for highlighting key ideas, writing dates and headings in planners, annotating textbooks, and adding festive colour to cards and envelopes. It’s also a wonderful ink for sketching with a fountain pen.

About Pilot Iroshizuku

A small bottle with big benefits

The 15ml bottle lets you enjoy a special colour without committing to a large quantity. It’s perfect if you like to rotate inks often or want to try Fuyu Gaki before buying more.

Important to know
