A love story from the Divine Comedy

In the second circle of Dante’s Hell, the lovers Paolo and Francesca are carried endlessly on a restless wind, together even in punishment. Visconti’s Comedia series turns the great figures of Dante’s poem into writing instruments, and this third chapter is dedicated to the poem’s most tragic romance.

Colours that tell the story

The resin was chosen to express the two lovers: passionate red and deep blue swirl together into violet, a symbol of two souls joined forever. The swirls fall differently on every barrel, so no two pens look exactly alike.

Details worth noticing

• The names Paolo and Francesca, engraved and enamelled on the central ring
• A limited-edition number, engraved on the back of the clip
• Gold-plated trim that warms the jewel-like resin
• A magnetic cap that closes with a soft click

Why a rollerball?

A rollerball gives you a smooth, liquid-ink line with no pressure, ideal for signatures and everyday writing, without the maintenance of a fountain pen. It is a natural choice if you want to enjoy a collector’s design every day.
