A painting in a bottle

Van Gogh painted The Starry Night in 1889, and its swirling blues and glowing stars have inspired artists ever since. Private Reserve honours that year with a run of just 1,889 bottles. The deep blue base carries flecks of gold and silver, so every stroke on the page catches the light like a star.

Readable and radiant

The midnight blue is dark enough for comfortable reading, while the shimmer adds a luxurious layer that sparkles without overpowering your words. It brings movement and depth to journaling, letters and creative writing.

Who it is for

• Fountain pen enthusiasts looking for a unique, premium ink
• Collectors of limited edition inks
• Artists and calligraphy lovers who enjoy expressive materials
• Gift buyers searching for something meaningful

A generous 90ml

Most Private Reserve inks come in smaller bottles, but Starry Night arrives in a 90ml glass bottle, so you can enjoy it for a long time.

Shimmer care

Shake the bottle gently before filling, roll the pen from time to time while writing, and clean it regularly. Medium and broad nibs show the shimmer best and handle the particles more easily.
