J. Herbin Vert Atlantide 350th Anniversary Ink 50ml

A deep green line, followed by a glint of gold and silver: Vert Atlantide brings a little ceremony to putting pen to paper. This Jacques Herbin 350th Anniversary ink combines an intense green base with two colours of shimmering particles, giving handwritten letters, journal headings and personal notes a distinctive finish.

The anniversary celebrates the founding of the Herbin house in Paris in 1670. Its name draws on the legend of the navigator Jacques Herbin and his fascination with lost places, including Atlantis. For anyone who enjoys the story behind a bottle as much as the colour inside it, that connection is part of the appeal.

A Green Ink for Writing Worth Keeping

Choose Vert Atlantide when you want the ink itself to be part of the occasion. It lends character to a birthday message, a favourite quotation or the opening page of a new notebook. The contrast between the dark colour and reflective particles is its defining attraction; the effect you see on your own page will also depend on your paper, pen and lighting.

For a useful first comparison, try a short writing sample on the paper you normally use and allow it to dry before judging the result. If you are choosing this ink for a particular pen, check that pens guidance on using inks containing shimmer particles. An inks suitability and the maintenance your pen requires are worth considering alongside colour.
