What the Red Horse stands for

Colorverse created this ink for the 2026 Year of the Horse, an animal that represents vitality, confidence and forward momentum. The bold red captures that spirit: energetic, positive and impossible to ignore on the page.

Everyday uses for a strong red

• Marking, editing and proofreading
• Highlighting deadlines and priorities in a planner
• Greeting cards for festivals and new beginnings
• A colourful ‘statement’ ink for daily journaling

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Standard and Glistening?

Standard has no shimmer. The Glistening versions add gold, dark green or purple-blue particles to the red.

Is it a limited ink?

It is a 2026 special edition, so it may not be restocked once sold out.

Is it water resistant?

No, it is a standard dye-based ink.

Pen pairing ideas

A red ink like this suits a fine-nibbed pen for corrections or a broad nib for bold headings; it looks smart in a black or red pen with gold trim.
