Blue is the colour most fountain pen users reach for first, and Pilot Iroshizuku Rikka is a lovely way to enjoy it. This blue ink comes from Pilot’s celebrated Iroshizuku range and is presented here in a compact 15ml glass bottle, ideal for trying a new favourite.

Everyday blue, done beautifully

A good blue ink is the backbone of any collection. It’s professional enough for work notes and meetings, easy on the eyes for long journal entries, and pairs with almost any pen and paper. Rikka gives you that versatility with the quality Iroshizuku is known for.

The Iroshizuku range

Pilot, founded in Japan in 1918, created Iroshizuku as its premium ink line. Every shade is named after something from Japanese nature and culture, and the range has a loyal following among fountain pen enthusiasts worldwide.

Tips for best results

Use it in any fountain pen with a cartridge converter or piston filler. Wipe the nib and section after filling, and keep the bottle tightly closed and out of direct sunlight between uses.

Please note

Rikka is not fast drying and not water resistant, so it’s best suited to everyday writing, journaling and correspondence rather than documents that could get wet.

Who it’s for

Students, professionals, letter writers and anyone building their first ink collection.
