A new kind of Faber-Castell

Faber-Castell has been making writing tools in Germany since 1761, and Avori is one of its freshest ideas. The brand designed it for everyday life in the digital age: a pen that is light, comfortable and calm to look at, made to last beyond passing trends. The facetted barrel sits securely between the fingers and stops the pen rolling off a sloping desk.

Why Inner Fire?

Faber-Castell built the Avori palette around moods rather than plain colour names. Inner Fire is the energetic one, a bright, sunny orange for people who like their tools to feel optimistic. It stands out in a pencil case, a meeting room or a notebook pocket, so you will always find it quickly.

Writing with the Avori

A gentle twist of the barrel brings the tip out; twist back and it retracts, keeping pockets and bags clean. The refill lays down a smooth blue line. Faber-Castell offers Avori with an extra-broad (XB) or medium (M) tip, both made for people who write a lot, and the refill follows the widely used Parker-style format, so replacements are easy to find.

Lighter on the planet

According to Faber-Castell, 92% of the plastic parts in the Avori are made from recycled material. Even the packaging is paper-based and reusable: the box has rounded corners and a strap, so it can stay on as a pen case long after the gift is opened.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Inner Fire Avori a click pen?

No, it uses a twist mechanism instead of a push button, which makes it quiet in meetings and classrooms.

What colour ink does it write in?

The Inner Fire Avori comes with a blue ballpoint refill.

Is it a good gift?

Yes. At this price, with its cheerful orange body and ready-made gift box, it is an easy present for students, colleagues and teenagers.
