Why choose the W3007?

A slim notebook for a single subject, a term of lectures or a few weeks of journaling.

The famous Fools paper

Tsubame Note, the Tokyo maker of the W3007, has made its own notebooks since the 1940s, and its Fools paper, named after the English ‘foolscap’, was developed to rival the best writing papers of its day. In the W3007, the 81.4gsm acid-free sheets are smooth under the nib, hold fountain pen ink with crisp edges and show very little through to the other side.

Sewn to last

The W3007 is bound with thread (ito-toji) rather than staples or glue alone, so it opens flat on the desk and stays together through heavy use. The 8mm ruling of the W3007, with 28 lines per page, gives comfortable space for handwriting.
