Paper Chosen for Writing

All TAKE A NOTE dated planners use Tomoe River S paper. In 2027, we continue with this familiar paper choice, so those who know TAKE A NOTE can enjoy a consistent writing experience.

68 gsm white Tomoe River S paper is light, smooth, and highly responsive to a range of writing tools, including fountain pens, pencils, and ballpoint pens. Thin yet resilient, it keeps a full year of planning light in the hand and makes every page a comfortable place to write.

Leave Room for the Weekand for Everyday Life

The yearly calendar, horizontal annual Gantt chart, vertical annual/project plan, monthly plan, and weekly plan flow naturally together, bringing long-term direction and current progress into one planner.

The monthly plan runs from December 2026 to March 2028, covering 16 months. The weekly plan covers all of 2027, with one week across a two-page spread, so schedules, tasks, and priorities can first be placed in a clear weekly view.

At the top of each day, three subtle sections can be used for morning, afternoon, and eveningor redefined in any way that suits you. Below, a large open area is ready for habit tracking, a daily sentence, journaling, photos, work notes, or any record you want to keep.

Weekly pages include daily moon phases, while monthly pages mark the new moon, first quarter, full moon, and last quarteradding a quiet sense of time to each month and week.

Let the Page Adapt to Your Own Way of Using It

A 4 mm grid with subtle 2 mm subdivisions provides clear guidance without being restrictive. The finer grid helps align writing, tables, and charts when needed, while remaining quiet enough for free writing.

78 pages of functional grid notes are reserved for project planning, meeting notes, reading notes, and ideas that do not belong to a particular date. The planner can gradually become a system that fits your own habits.

A Writing Space That Opens Flat

Exposed-thread binding opens flat at 180 degrees, making it comfortable to write across spreads, turn pages, and look back on what you have recorded. A personal information page leaves a small place that is truly your own.

A Thoughtful Gift for the New Year

A 2027 letterpress calendar bookmark card is included with every planner.

Use it as a page marker while you write, or keep it as a small memento of the year ahead. Each time you open the planner, it is an invitation to return to your own rhythm through a sheet of paper and a moment in time.

Make space. Let life take shape.
