Some colours feel like a warm cup of coffee on a rainy afternoon. The Scrikss Primeo Latte fountain pen is one of them: a creamy latte brown that looks cosy on a desk and grown-up enough for the office. It’s a simple, well-made starter fountain pen that comes ready to write, with an ink cartridge included in the blister pack.

A calmer colour choice

If brights aren’t your thing, latte is a lovely middle ground. It’s neutral, understated and pairs beautifully with kraft notebooks, leather planners and caf-style journalling. It’s the kind of colour that never looks out of place.

Writing with the Primeo

The steel Medium nib gives a smooth, even line that suits most handwriting sizes. Because fountain pens need very little pressure, the Primeo is noticeably more relaxing to write with over long periods than a typical ballpoint. The body is plastic, so it’s light and comfortable in the hand.

Handy details

Cap: a snap cap that clicks shut and posts on the back of the pen while you write.
Filling: cartridge-based, clean and quick to change.
Nib: steel, Medium.
Made by: Scrikss, a writing instruments brand from Turkey.

Good for gifting

A latte-coloured fountain pen makes a thoughtful little present for coffee lovers, bookworms, teachers and colleagues. It’s affordable enough for bulk corporate or event gifting too.
