A green for grown-ups

Meteorite Moss is the most natural colour in the Galaxy series, the green of forest floors and ancient stones, with a gentle sparkle that hints at something out of this world. It is sophisticated enough for the office and calming enough for a quiet evening of journaling.

The Galaxy story

Sailor created the Galaxy series as an overseas-only limited edition, so these pens are not sold in Japan. Five colours make up the series, each inspired by the wonders of space.

Writing performance

Every Galaxy pen carries Sailor’s large stainless steel nib, finished by hand in Japan and plated in black to match the trim. It writes with a precise, smooth feel and a hint of feedback. Remember that Japanese nib sizes run fine: if you normally use a European Fine, a Sailor Medium Fine or Medium will feel familiar.

Why the 1911 shape works

• Rounded ends and a comfortable grip for long sessions
• Screw cap that seals well and posts on the barrel
• Light enough for all-day writing
• Classic proportions that suit any hand

Perfect pairings

Try a deep green ink such as Private Reserve Ebony Green for a matching look, or a warm brown for contrast. The pen loves smooth paper like Leuchtturm1917 and Tomoe River. Explore our fountain pen inks and cartridges collection.
