The classic drafting pencil in one of its newest colours: the rOtring 600 0.5mm Mechanical Pencil in Dark Stone, a deep stone-grey lacquer over a full metal body.

A design icon

The rOtring 600 is one of the best-known drafting pencils in the world, prized by architects, engineers and designers for its all-metal hexagonal body and its precise, no-wobble lead. Dark Stone joined the range as one of rOtring’s newer colours, giving the familiar shape a quiet, modern finish.

Built for precision

• Hexagonal body that will not roll off a drawing board
• Knurled metal grip for a secure hold during long sessions
• Fixed lead sleeve that lets you draw along a ruler or template accurately
• Brass clutch mechanism for consistent lead advance
• Lead grade indicator so you always know which hardness is loaded
• Eraser tucked under the push cap

Why 0.5mm?

0.5mm is the most versatile lead size: fine enough for technical drawings and annotations, strong enough for everyday writing.

Weight and balance

At around 23g, the metal body feels solid and well balanced, with the weight sitting low near the grip.
