As warm and comforting as its name: Private Reserve Chocolat is a deep, warm chocolate brown with a smooth, creamy flow.

Why it is a favourite

Chocolat is one of the most popular brown inks among fountain pen users because it is dignified enough for letters and work, yet warm and friendly in a journal.

Writing experience

• Smooth, generous flow
• Pleasing shading in broader nibs, with lighter and darker brown within a stroke
• A subtle dark sheen may appear on very smooth paper
• No shimmer

Standard or Fast Dry?

This listing is the standard Chocolat. Private Reserve also makes a separate Fast Dry version for left-handed writers; both are not water resistant.
