Pilot Vanishing Point Fountain Pen – Golden Journey – 2026 Limited Edition

Inspired by the Japanese art and philosophy of Kintsugi, Golden Journey honors the beauty found in transformation, resilience, and continuity. In Kintsugi, broken pottery is repaired with gold, allowing each line to become part of the objects story rather than something to conceal. The 2026 Limited Edition brings this philosophy to life through a luminous pearlescent dark blue barrel accented with lines of metallic gold paint, creating a design that feels both meaningful and visually unforgettable.

This edition marks an especially distinctive moment in the Vanishing Point Limited Edition legacy. With its expressive Kintsugi-inspired pattern, rich blue finish, and elegant gold accents, Golden Journey offers a visual direction unlike any recent Limited Edition Vanishing Point. It is also the first Limited Edition Vanishing Point in many years to feature gold-tone trim, giving the pen a refined warmth and collector appeal reminiscent of milestone editions such as the Vanishing Point 50th Anniversary.

First introduced in 1963, the revolutionary Pilot Vanishing Point remains unmatched in both innovation and performance. Its precision-engineered retractable nib mechanism protects the 18-karat gold nib when not in use, providing the convenience of a click-action pen with the exceptional writing experience of a premium fountain pen. The medium 18kt gold nib delivers smooth, consistent performance that naturally adapts to your writing style.

The Golden Journey Vanishing Point is currently only sold with a medium nib.

Each pen ships in a Pilot gift box, and includes an ink converter, a single cartridge, and a metal cartridge cover.
