The Pentel MATTEHOP Gel Pens feature extremely pigmented, high-opacity inkthat dries with a matte finish, creating a highly visible, paint-like effect look. Mattehop pens can be used on white or colored paper like black and kraft papers. The ink remains opaque on dark surfaces. They’re also a great choice for writing on photos, coated papersand washi tape, making them ideal for decoration. Their vibrant colors are perfect for comics and illustrations to make them pop.

Newly developed matte color ink

Compared to ordinary pigment ballpoint pens, this pen uses a lot of large pigments (color particles) to achieve a matte writing effect without any gloss.
By simply filling in the ink, you can create illustrations and letters with a strong presence, just like a sticker or seal.

Vivid colors even on dark paper

This ink has excellent hiding power and vivid color, so the color stands out clearly even on dark paper.

For photos and masking tape

It can be used to paint thick, vivid colors on photographs, masking tape, candy boxes, and more.
