From the Gold City of Germany

Otto Hutt has made fine writing instruments in Pforzheim since 1920. Its 100 Years Edition celebrates a century of craft, and Permanent Blue brings that heritage to a dependable everyday blue for letters, notes and signatures.

Blue that stays on the page

Most blue fountain pen inks wash away easily. Permanent Blue keeps the friendly look of a blue ink but holds on to the page once dry, giving you peace of mind for envelopes, contracts and everyday paperwork.

Good habits with permanent inks

We recommend using Permanent Blue in a pen you write with often, and rinsing the pen with water every few fills or before putting it away. This keeps the feed clean and the ink flowing smoothly.
