Why Mimosa?

Mimosa is Monteverde’s 2026 Special Annual Collectible colour: a soft, sunny yellow named after mimosa blossom. Dark gunmetal trim makes it look fresh and modern.

The Ritma design

The Mimosa Ritma takes its inspiration from 1960s and 70s minimalism, and the fountain pen has a straight, cylindrical body, clean flat ends and a clip with a long oval cut-out that has become the series’ signature. Its magnetic cap snaps onto the Mimosa barrel with a satisfying click and posts on the end for a longer writing length.

Writing with the Mimosa Ritma

Monteverde fits the Mimosa Ritma with a size #6 stainless steel nib from JoWo in Germany. For the Mimosa pen, pick Extra Fine to Broad for everyday writing, a 1.1 Stub for crisp italic lines, or Omniflex for gentle line variation. The Mimosa Ritma accepts standard international cartridges, and a converter is included in the box for bottled ink.
