This unique fountain pen is crafted from durable aluminium and features a sleek, aerodynamic design that is sure to catch the eye. With its stainless steel nib, you can write with ease and precision. The pen also uses the standard international cartridge/converter filling mechanism, making it easy to use and refill. The Montegrappa Aviator Red Baron Fountain Pen pays homage to the legendary WWI squadron commander, Manfred Freiherr von Richthofen, otherwise known as the Red Baron. His dominance of the skies has left an indelible mark on history and popular culture. This stunning pen is designed to evoke the spirit of flight, with its rounded profile and sharpened cap resembling aircraft and rockets. It is the perfect choice for any pilot or aviation enthusiast looking to make a statement. Its profile is rounded, to reflect the laws of aerodynamics, inherent in every external component found in aircraft. The pens look therefore conveys the dynamism of flight, its curved pen barrel blending into a sharpened cap, conceived as a whole to resemble both aircraft and rockets. Adorning the entire body of the Montegrappa Aviator pen is specific design details in the language of the aviation industry. Montegrappas artisans have finished the pen with stitching style rows of planks seemingly secured with minuscule rivet heads, accompanied by fuel tank apertures, and the Remove before Flight and No Step commands, etched along the pen in perfect relief. The signature clip bears a complex, technical design shape reminiscent of landing gear struts, with the classic Montegrappa rotating sphere re-imagined as a knurled ferrule. The pen comes in a flight-goggle style travel case. This pen is perfect for aviation enthusiasts and anyone looking for an elegant writing instrument with a timeless character.
