Alumilite is a casted material made from Urethane resin. Like acrylic, Alumilite can be cast in rods/ blocked can be formed, from which pens are turned. Alumilite is not clear as acrylic. Best feature of Alumilite is it lets any foreign particles stay suspended and hence the output of casting Alumilite is always stunning. For the new Lotus Vikrant fountain pen, Alumilite has been casted with metallic powder and also multiple colors in different hues to get a flowing effect. Lotus Vikrant in Alumilite is completely different in tough and feel. The Vikrant Alumilite collection has been launched in 5 color variants i.e Blue, Brown, Amber, Chocolate and Grey. The pen is fitted with a #6 Jowo or a Bock nib and has a Smidth Convertor under its belly. Buy your lotus Viktrant fountain pen here at Makoba India.
