Under a special project, we tried doing something crazy with the ebonite. Ebonite is the most preferred material for making hand turned pens. It is great to work on as it is versatile and easy to chip through. I the hands of a master pen maker, Ebonite is like a block of rock worked upon by a sculptor. Lotus Chatai fountain pen, is one such marvelously hand crafted ebonite creation. Minute repeated textured pattern is created on a solid block of red ebonite. In the pattern, alternate block is hand painted with black lacquer to give it a very unique look. This is by far one of the best handmade ebonite fountain pens. The pen is fitted with a #6 Jowo or a Bock nib and has a Schmidt Converter under its belly. Buy lotus ebonite handmade fountain pens at Makoba India.
