Leonardo MZ Grande Cuspide No.8 Titanium Nib Fountain Pen Nocciola CT

Warm, elegant, and unmistakably Italian, the Leonardo MZ Grande Cuspide No.8 Titanium Nib Fountain Pen Nocciola CT is the kind of writing instrument that feels special from the first time you pick it up. Its rich Nocciola brown finish, complemented by classic chrome trim, gives the pen a sophisticated vintage character, while the oversized No.8 titanium nib brings a more expressive side to the writing experience.

Created by Leonardo Officina Italiana, this fountain pen brings together traditional Italian pen-making aesthetics and the practical pleasures of modern fountain pen design. The substantial Grande proportions make it particularly appealing to writers who enjoy a larger pen in the hand, while the Cuspide silhouette and carefully considered detailing give it a strong visual identity.

For fountain pen enthusiasts, the attraction goes beyond the colour. This is a pen designed to feel substantial, distinctive, and rewarding every time it meets the page.

Key Highlights

• Leonardo MZ Grande Cuspide design with a substantial, elegant profile created for writers who enjoy larger fountain pens.

• An excellent choice for daily writing, journaling, signatures, correspondence, and fountain pen collecting.

• Particularly appealing to enthusiasts looking for a large Italian fountain pen with an expressive titanium nib.

• A distinctive option for anyone who appreciates luxury fountain pens with traditional character and modern performance.

The Beauty of Nocciola

The Nocciola colour is one of the details that gives this Leonardo fountain pen its personality. Warm without being loud, the brown tone has an earthy richness that feels naturally at home alongside leather notebooks, wooden desks and classic stationery.

The chrome trim provides just the right amount of contrast. Instead of competing with the colour of the resin, it sharpens the overall design and gives the pen a polished, timeless appearance.

It is a colourway that should appeal particularly to collectors who already have several black or blue fountain pens and are looking for something with greater warmth and individuality.

A No.8 Titanium Nib with Character

The standout feature of this model is undoubtedly its No.8 titanium nib. Beyond its imposing size, titanium is valued by fountain pen enthusiasts for the character it can bring to the page. Compared with a conventional rigid steel nib, a titanium nib can offer a softer, more responsive feel, making the writing experience particularly enjoyable for those who like a little more interaction between nib and paper.

The oversized No.8 format also suits the proportions of the Grande body beautifully. It looks appropriately substantial rather than visually lost against the larger pen.

Whether you are signing your name, writing a letter or settling into a long journaling session, the nib gives the pen an expressive quality that makes writing feel less routine.

Designed for Writers Who Love a Larger Pen

The Leonardo MZ Grande Cuspide is made for people who appreciate presence. Its larger format sits confidently in the hand and gives the writing experience a deliberate, substantial feel.

The Cuspide design retains the elegance associated with traditional Italian fountain pens while introducing a strong contemporary identity. Every element, from the silhouette to the trim, contributes to a pen that feels made rather than mass-produced.

This makes the MZ Grande particularly attractive to experienced fountain pen users who know what they enjoy, especially those who favour larger pens with distinctive nibs and a more commanding presence.

Italian Craftsmanship Meets Everyday Usability

Leonardo Officina Italiana has developed a reputation for creating fountain pens that balance Italian style with the practical requirements of modern writing. The MZ Grande Cuspide No.8 Titanium Nib Fountain Pen is a fine example of that approach.

The cartridge/converter filling system keeps the pen practical for regular use while allowing bottled-ink enthusiasts to explore a wide range of colours. That means this is not simply a collector’s piece. It can easily become the fountain pen you reach for when you want your everyday writing experience to feel a little more considered.
