Leonardo Magico Fountain Pen Ocean Sunrise CT (Limited Edition)

Some fountain pens are immediately recognisable for the way they catch the light, and the Leonardo Magico Fountain Pen Ocean Sunrise CT (Limited Edition) is one of them. Inspired by the changing colours of the sky and sea at sunrise, this striking Leonardo fountain pen brings together a beautifully layered finish, elegant chrome trim and the unmistakable character of Italian pen design.

The Leonardo Magico is known for its clean, classic silhouette and satisfying piston-filling mechanism, giving it the right balance of traditional fountain pen charm and everyday practicality. The Ocean Sunrise colourway makes this limited edition especially appealing to collectors, with its luminous tones adding depth and movement to an otherwise timeless design.

For anyone who enjoys writing instruments that have a strong visual identity without becoming overly ornate, this Leonardo fountain pen offers a wonderful combination of colour, craftsmanship and writing pleasure.

Key Highlights

• Special Ocean Sunrise finish, inspired by the warm, shifting colours of an ocean sunrise.

• Leonardo Magico design combines classic fountain pen proportions with a clean, elegant Italian aesthetic.

• Beautifully layered resin body creates depth and visual movement, making every pen feel distinctive.

• Chrome trim (CT) provides a crisp, polished contrast against the vibrant Ocean Sunrise colourway.

• The piston-filling mechanism allows the pen to draw ink directly from a bottle, making it a practical choice for fountain pen enthusiasts who enjoy bottled inks.

• Large ink capacity makes the pen well suited to regular writing, journaling and extended writing sessions.

• Made in Italy with the attention to detail associated with Leonardo Officina Italiana.

• Limited Edition appeal makes this an especially attractive choice for fountain pen collectors and Leonardo enthusiasts.

• Suitable for everyday writing, journaling, correspondence, signatures and creative work.

• A distinctive choice for anyone searching for a limited edition Italian fountain pen with both character and practicality.

A Colourway That Tells a Story

Ocean Sunrise is the kind of finish that rewards a closer look. Instead of relying on a single flat shade, its layered tones create an impression of light moving across water and sky. The result is colourful without feeling loud, giving the pen a sophisticated personality that changes subtly depending on the light.

That visual character is a perfect match for the Leonardo Magico. The streamlined silhouette gives the finish room to stand out, while the chrome details keep the overall design crisp and contemporary.

For collectors, this is part of the attraction of limited edition Leonardo pens: the colour is not merely an afterthought. It becomes an important part of the identity of the writing instrument.

The Magico: Classic Shape, Modern Convenience

The Leonardo Magico Fountain Pen takes a familiar cigar-inspired fountain pen profile and refines it with the distinctly Italian approach for which Leonardo is known. Its proportions are elegant rather than bulky, making it comfortable for writers who want a substantial fountain pen without an oversized feel.

The piston-filling system is another reason the Magico has become such an appealing model for fountain pen enthusiasts. Instead of depending on disposable cartridges, the pen fills directly from a bottle of ink, allowing you to enjoy the huge variety of fountain pen inks available in different colours and properties.

For writers who regularly use bottled ink, that makes the Magico feel less like a special-occasion pen and more like a genuinely usable daily companion.

Made for Collectors, Enjoyed by Writers

The fact that the Ocean Sunrise CT is a Limited Edition adds a natural collector appeal, but this is still a pen designed to be used. Its visual presence makes it enjoyable to take out of a pen case, while the practical filling system encourages regular writing.

It is an especially compelling choice for someone who appreciates the intersection of Italian fountain pen craftsmanship and contemporary colour design. The Ocean Sunrise finish gives the traditional fountain pen form a more artistic personality, without losing the elegance that makes Leonardo pens so versatile.

Whether placed alongside a notebook at home, carried to the office or added to a growing Leonardo collection, it has the presence of a pen that deserves to be noticed.
