Kyo No Oto – Moegiiro NO.08 Ink

About The Collection:

“Kyoto no Oto” is a series of writing inks that recreate traditional Japanese colors used since the Heian period with modern techniques and interpretations. Each color has its own unique name and story.

This dye ink was developed exclusively by TAG STATIONERY in collaboration with the Kyoto Plant Dyeing Laboratory, a group of dyeing and weaving experts.

This is a distinctive ink that takes advantage of the bleeding characteristic of dyes to create a gradation of light and dark shades.

– Because dye ink dissolves in water, you can use it to write with the ink and then use a water brush to blur or thin the color, allowing you to create a variety of different expressions.

About The Ink:

It is a yellow-green color like the new shoots and leaves that sprout in early spring. It is considered a color that symbolizes youth, and was popular as the color of young people during the Heian period.

*The back leaf color has been discontinued, so product numbers KO-0108 and NO.08 will be replaced.
