Grey inks are having a moment, and we completely understand why. Hongdian Non Carbon Bluish Gray Ink is a calm, sophisticated grey with a gentle hint of blue. It looks understated and professional on the page, and it’s a refreshing alternative to black.

Why choose a grey ink?

• Softer on the eyes than black for long writing sessions
• Looks elegant and modern in journals and notebooks
• Great for sketching and line work with a fountain pen
• Professional enough for meeting notes

What you get

A generous 60ml glass bottle of non-carbon fountain pen ink, enough for many refills of your favourite pens.

Performance notes

• Not fast drying, so allow a few seconds before touching the page
• Not water resistant
• No shimmer: a clean, matte-looking grey

Pairing ideas

Bluish Gray looks especially good in silver, chrome or grey pens, and on white or cream paper. It’s lovely for minimalist bullet journals.
