A pen that feels like nature

Hongdian named its metal pen family the Forest series, and the Dark Green 1851 suits that theme best of all. The fine sandblasted texture looks and feels a little like tree bark, while the matching green trim keeps the whole pen calm and cohesive, with no bright chrome to break the mood.

Slim, light and pocket friendly

The aluminium construction keeps the 1851 light enough for long writing sessions, and its slim profile slips easily into a shirt pocket or pen case. Pull the snap cap off to write, or post it on the barrel for extra length.

Choose your nib

We offer the Dark Green 1851 with four steel nibs. The Fine and Medium suit daily writing, while the Fude, with its upturned tip, lets you switch from fine to bold lines simply by changing the angle of the pen. The Fine Long Blade is a specially ground nib that gives natural line variation between vertical and horizontal strokes, adding flair to your handwriting.

Perfect partners

• Green, teal and black inks echo the forest theme beautifully
• Smooth notebooks bring out the character of the Fude and Long Blade nibs
• A pen case keeps the textured finish looking fresh
