Hobonichi Techo 2027 Cousin Cover – V&A Series: Blackthorn

A5 Cousin Size

The Hobonichi Techo, created in collaboration with the V&A (Victoria and Albert Museum, London), celebrates the much-loved Arts and Crafts patterns of William Morris and his creative companions. Drawing from the museums unparalleled collections, each techo combines iconic designs with the Hobonichi Techos signature style.

The front cover featuresBlackthornwallpaper by John Henry Dearle, a close friend and collaborator of William Morris. This design celebrates spring with entwined hawthorn and blackthorn blossoms. The back features his 1912Leicesterwallpaper design, rich with stylised foliage and botanical details.

Inside, a zesty yellow interior and a woven label pen holder bears Morris famous words: Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.

This pen holder is designed to hold a pen by its barrel. Even when you arent carrying a pen, the design serves as a beautiful accent to the techo cover.
