The Sea Nomads

The Bajau people of the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia have lived on and around the sea for centuries, many of them aboard traditional lepa house-boats. They are famous for free-diving to great depths on a single breath to fish and gather food.

Design inspired by the sea

The resin, created by Jonathon Brooks of Carolina Pen Company, flows from deep teal to bright aqua, like sunlight filtering through the Celebes Sea. The clip is cast in the shape of a lepa boat, and the barrel band carries motifs from Bajau ceremonial dress.

Built for writing

• Piston filling for a generous ink supply
• A wide choice of steel nibs, including a 1.1 stub and two flex options
• Screw cap that keeps the nib secure

Which nib should I choose?

EF to B suit everyday writing. The Stub 1.1 gives italic-style line variation, and the EF and F Flex nibs allow gentle line variation with light pressure, perfect for decorative handwriting.
