The Cross ATX fountain pen in Translucent Blue has a glossy, see-through-effect blue lacquer over a metal body, finished with bright chrome trim. It’s a bold yet professional pen with a long, elegant silhouette, and a great way to step up to a premium metal fountain pen without spending a fortune.

About Cross

Cross is one of America’s oldest pen makers, crafting writing instruments since 1846, and its pens are known for sleek lines, dependable quality and a lifetime of everyday use. The ATX range is known for its tapered shape and comfortable balance.

Design and feel

The ATX measures 146mm capped with a 12.3mm diameter, and weighs 27g (11g cap, 16g barrel). That puts it in a comfortable middle ground: substantial enough to feel premium, light enough for long writing sessions. The snap cap is quick to use and posts on the barrel if you want extra length.

Fine or Medium steel nib

Choose a Fine steel nib for small, neat handwriting and everyday notebooks, or a Medium for a smoother, slightly bolder line that’s great for signatures.

Filling

The ATX takes Cross ink cartridges or a Cross converter. These are not included in the box, so remember to add cartridges or a converter to your order.
