A real conversation starter

Rainbow finishes are one of the most eye-catching looks in the pen world, and the Hongdian 1851 brings that look to an affordable everyday pen. No two angles look quite the same, which makes it a fun pen to pull out at your desk, in class or at a pen meet.

Made for daily writing

Under the colourful finish is a practical, slim aluminium pen. It is light, comfortable for long sessions and easy to carry. The snap cap is quick to remove when inspiration strikes, and it posts on the barrel for writers who like a little more length.

Nib choices for the Rainbow

• Extra Fine: crisp, tiny writing in planners and pocket notebooks
• Fine: a dependable everyday line
• Medium: a smoother, more relaxed writing feel
• Fude: fine to bold strokes by varying the angle, ideal for doodles and sketching

Gift idea

The Rainbow 1851 makes a cheerful gift for students, artists and anyone who loves colour. Add a bottle of bright ink, and you have a complete starter set for creative journaling.
