A design classic

The Diplomat Aero was inspired by the Zeppelin airships of the early 1900s. Its sculpted grooves and streamlined shape have made it one of Diplomat’s most recognisable pens. The Black Forest edition gives that shape a natural, organic surface.

How the wood-grain look is made

The Black Forest pattern is applied to the aluminium body by hydro-dipping, a process in which the design is transferred from the surface of water. That means the grain falls slightly differently on every pen, so yours will be unique.

Writing with a rollerball

• A smooth, liquid-ink line that needs no pressure
• Bold, consistent writing, ideal for signatures
• Easy to maintain: just change the refill

Substantial in the hand

At around 48g, the Aero rollerball has a solid, reassuring weight. If you prefer a lighter pen, write with it unposted.
