All black, all business. The Submarine Ebonite King Fountain Pen in Black PVD pairs deep black ebonite with PVD-coated trim for a sleek, understated look, and it is made in India.

The appeal of a black ebonite pen

Black ebonite is the classic material of Indian fountain pen making. It has a soft, satin feel, stays comfortable in warm weather and develops a gentle character with use. Combined with the King’s generous proportions, it makes a pen you can write with for hours.

Feature checklist

• Ebonite body in black
• PVD trim for a modern, hard-wearing finish
• Eyedropper filling: bottled ink goes straight into the barrel
• Steel nib, Medium
• Screw cap, postable
• 170mm long, 15.25mm in diameter

Good to know

Eyedropper pens hold a lot of ink. For best results, refill before the barrel runs very low and keep the pen nib-up in your pocket or bag.
